Ephesians 3:12

"In Him(1) and through(2) faith in Him we may approach(3) God with freedom(4) and confidence(5)."

In this letter from Paul to the Ephesian church he is giving a teaching about how God's wisdom will be revealed to the church. That God's heart for the church is that it would be full of people who are able to receive divine wisdom. In the verse above it is made clear that through what Christ did on the cross, then rising from the dead, and our faith in this we are able to stand completely free in his presence. To walk in freedom means to be unconfined by affliction or oppression. Paul is saying that no matter who we are and what we have been through, if we believe in Jesus we can come freely into his presence.

Today I choose to come to God freely and with confidence knowing that no matter what I have done He (God) will still except me. This verse states that because of what Jesus did on the cross for me, through the suffering that Jesus suffered I can be in relationship with God and enjoy life to the full.

God, I thank you that I am unconditionally accepted by You! I love doing life with, and enjoy being able to talk to You! Whenever I want, I thank you that you're always there for me. I shake off all of my distractions and limits that I put on You. Help me to see You clearly today! My gosh I love you so much! Amen
