‘Night of Freedom’ this Friday (17/3)

– Important parent information.

Dear parent/guardian!

Nations Youth is having a wonderful first term in 2023! We have grown in strength and number as more and more teenagers have encountered the real and transforming love of Jesus.

Our theme this term is ‘There is Freedom.’ We’ve been speaking from the Bible about the power of Jesus that enables us to live free lives. We’ve covered a range of topics like freedom is a journey, dealing with unforgiveness, finding freedom in God’s Word, healing for your heart, taking thoughts captive and more!

As one component of our discussions about freedom, we have also addressed the topic of deliverance. As Bible believers, we believe in the reality of the Devil and the demonic realm. We believe that whilst Christians can’t be possessed by demons, sometimes, for a variety of reasons, we can be under demonic influence (think about Paul in 2 Corinthians 12:7).

We want our teenagers to understand that we have all authority over the Devil through what Jesus did at the cross. Jesus can and will deliver us from all the works of the enemy when we turn to Him and leave our life of sin.

This coming Friday, we will be praying for any student who desires prayer. The focus of our prayer will be around freedom. We are believing that students will be set free from any tormenting thoughts, addictions, nightmares, fears, and other forms of oppression that many teens sometimes experience. As parents, we recognise your authority over your child and we want you to feel comfortable with all that we do at Nations Youth. If you or your child has any questions about the content of this email or this coming Friday night, we’d love to hear from you! Please don’t hesitate to reach out at youth@nationschurch.com

Thanks for your ongoing love and support of Nations Youth. If you’re a prayerful person, we would love for you to pray with us that God would bring freedom to our teenagers this Friday – that they would be full of peace, purpose and love as they walk through life with Jesus.

With love,

The Nations Youth Team.
